2024 Nobel Prize in Physics and Some Reminiscences

The 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The original ideas went back to the development of neural network models. In this talk I shall relate this work with our research at Quaid-i-Azam University in 1980s.
